Cookie Policy

Last Updated: May 29, 2026  •  Effective Date: May 29, 2026

Plain version: we don’t track you. We store one small setting so we can remember your cookie choice, and that’s it — no advertising or analytics cookies are running today. This page explains exactly what’s on your device and how to control it. You can review your choices anytime via Cookie Preferences.

1.Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how Lyfework (“we,” “us,” “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and the choices you have. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.

We’ve written it to be specific rather than vague: it lists the exact item we store, why, and for how long. If we ever add analytics or marketing tools, we’ll update this page and ask for your consent first.

2.What Cookies & Similar Technologies Are

A cookie is a small text file a website can place on your device. Similar technologies include local storage — a small amount of space in your browser a site can use to remember a setting. Both let a site recognize a choice you made so you don’t have to repeat it.

These technologies can be “strictly necessary” (needed for the site to function or to honor your privacy choices) or “optional” (used for things like analytics or advertising). Optional ones require your consent, and that’s the consent this page is about.

3.Do We Use Cookies?

Today, we use only essential browser storage to remember your cookie choice. We do not currently run advertising cookies, third-party analytics, social-media pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

No tracking, by default
We don’t sell or share your personal information, and we don’t profile you across the web. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information for the details and your right to opt out.

4.Categories We Define

So the controls are clear (and ready if we add tools later), we group storage into three categories. Their current status is shown below.

CategoryPurposeStatus
Strictly NecessaryMakes the site work and remembers your cookie choice. Cannot be switched off.Active
AnalyticsWould help us understand which pages are useful. Off until you allow it.Not currently in use
MarketingWould help us measure and improve outreach. Off until you allow it.Not currently in use

5.Exactly What We Store Today

This is the complete list of what this site places on your device:

NameTypePurposeRetention
lyf-consent-v1 Local storage Remembers your cookie choices (necessary / analytics / marketing) so we don’t ask again. Until you clear it

This item is created only after you make a choice (or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal). It contains your preferences and the date you set them — nothing that identifies you personally.

6.Managing Your Preferences

You’re in control. Open your cookie preferences any time to review or change your choices:

You can also manage storage directly in your browser:

  • Clear or block storage for this site in your browser’s privacy or site settings.
  • Use private / incognito mode, which discards storage when you close the window.
  • Reset our setting by clearing site data — you’ll see the cookie notice again on your next visit.

Blocking strictly necessary storage may mean we can’t remember your cookie choice, so you’ll be asked each visit.

7.Global Privacy Control & “Do Not Track”

If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it automatically: optional categories stay off and we treat it as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information. You won’t need to do anything else.

Because we don’t track users, there’s nothing for a legacy “Do Not Track” signal to disable — but we honor GPC as described above and in our Do Not Sell or Share notice.

8.Changes to This Policy

If we introduce new cookies or technologies — for example analytics — we’ll update this page, change the “Last Updated” date, and request your consent before any optional storage is set.
